The Mirror
A mirror shows you yourself, or something that looks like you. People log it in many countries, and now and then it is broken.
What Jung wrote
Jung reached for the image of a mirror when he wrote about the first meeting with the unconscious. In his essay on the archetypes of the collective unconscious he describes someone looking into the mirror of still water. The first thing they see is their own face, the one they never show the world, and that, he said, is where the meeting with the Shadow begins.
A mirror in this sense does not flatter. It gives back what is there. Jung thought it took courage to keep looking, and that many people turn away at exactly this point.

What we don’t do
We won’t tell you what your mirror means. Jung himself distrusted fixed dream dictionaries and held that a symbol can only be read in the life of the person who dreams it. Archetype Matrix only counts: who logged the same image, where, and in what mood.
